Service Description

This is a workshop for anyone who would like to learn how to develop black and white film with the appropriate chemistry in the darkroom. You will have a full introduction to the darkroom practice under our guidance. Explore the magic of analogue photography. Darkroom Session : 10am – 1pm This workshop is divided into two parts, the film developing process in theory which covers the subject of the basic principles of the film, types and the differences between them, how to process them and the various techniques available. The second part is where the action happens. You will learn in practice how to handle film and properly develop it. You’ll be given instructions for the equipment you will be using and the things you need to know in order to start. What we will cover: * Chemistry for b/w Film * Types of film * B/W Film Developing Process * Darkroom practice By the end of this workshop you will have a better understanding about the process and your film developed by you ready to take home. Level of experience: This is for anyone who would like to learn from scratch or would like to practice their skills. What you need to bring: For the practical part of the workshop, just bring your b/w exposed film, 35mm or 120 formats up to 6x6. What we provide: We provide all the chemistry and the relevant equipment.
